AGIS project

The aim of the programme is to help successfully adopt mediation, gather and disseminate European best practices in this field. A comprehensive theoretical and empirical research (10/2006)will be conducted to explore the attitudes towards Restorative Justice of those involved in law enforcement and non-professionals, and the reasons of their support / rejection, with special regards to juvenile delinquency, domestic violence, and bullying.

Trainings

 

 

Within the frame of the AGIS Programme a two days training seminar was organised for judges, prosecutors and police by Family Child Youth Association on mediation and restorative practices. The seminar took place at the Hungarian Judicial Academy in Budapest where the participants were trained by Maria Herczog and Rob van Pagée.

With the collaboration of the „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi a 2 days mediation training was held for judges, prosecutors and policmen in Romania. Doina Balahur and Rob van Pagée led the training.
